High high is too high?? No easy answer!

States struggle with determining at what level of being stoned is too stoned to drive.  UCLA professor Mark Kleiman, who served as Washington state's pot consultant, feels that Washington's 5 nanograms of THC standard is far to strict and could lead to conviction of sober drivers.  Bottom line - there is no conclusive research that shows impairment at a given THC level in the blood.

I have been defending those accused of DUIs for most of my 27 year career in the law, first as a public defender and since ‘91 in private practice.  I am not only one of the founding members of the National College for DUI Defense, but I am also one of the first lawyers in the nation to be Board Certified in DUI defense by that organization.*
